Testing and Evaluation of Food Contact Materials
Innoform GmbH Testservice is a recognized and independent testing service provider specializing in the examination of food packaging and plastic films. Our global clientele includes packaging manufacturers, brand owners, packaging users, machinery manufacturers, recycling companies, and more.
With tailor-made analyses and expert reports, we support our clients in developing and optimizing safe and sustainable packaging solutions. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our clients and actively contribute your specialized technical expertise.

Chemist / Food Chemist / Polymer Chemist (m/f/d)

Would you like to apply your scientific expertise in an exciting, future-oriented environment? Then you’ve come to the right place.
You will work in the area of food-contact-compliant chemical testing of plastic packaging and other polymer products using analytical methods such as GC-MS, GC-FID, molecular spectroscopy (FT-IR and Raman), DSC, etc. Step by step, you will take on responsibility for handling customer inquiries, technical assessments, and internal projects.
Together with your colleagues, you will solve demanding challenges for our clients. You will document your results independently in reports in both German and English. In addition, you will be available to assist our clients with technical queries in a competent, service-oriented manner.
Your Profile
- Completed university degree in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field
- Strong interest in instrumental analysis and the evaluation of polymers and packaging materials
- Practical laboratory experience (e.g. through internships, academic theses, or prior employment) is an advantage
- Careful, structured, and detail-oriented approach to work
- Good language skills in German and English, both written and spoken (at least C2 level in German due to customer reporting)
- Enjoy teamwork and direct customer contact
- Motivation to explore new specialized topics and continuously grow professionally
What You Ideally Bring
- Knowledge in instrumental analysis, particularly mass spectrometry
- Basic knowledge in polymer materials and material characterization
- Interest in food contact materials, regulatory compliance, and toxicology
- Familiarity with legal requirements for food contact packaging is an advantage
