We are looking for a
Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) for Packaging and Materials Testing
Testing of plastic films, papers, and other packaging materials
Innoform GmbH Testservice is an independent testing service provider for flexible packaging, plastic films, and paper. In our accredited testing laboratory, we examine and evaluate packaging materials for clients from the packaging, food, machinery, and recycling industries.
With practical tests, analyses, and expert reports, we support our clients in making packaging safer, more functional, and more sustainable. Since 1998, we have combined sound laboratory analytics with a direct connection to materials, processing, and packaging practice.
Your Role & Start with Us
Do you want to not only generate measurement results, but also understand what they mean for a packaging material and its application? Then you are in the right place with us.
In our accredited testing laboratory, you will independently carry out tests and analyses on plastic films, papers, and other packaging materials according to standardized procedures.
After a structured onboarding period, you will take over your own test orders, document and evaluate the results, and work directly with our clients on technical questions. Quality assurance tasks, such as test equipment monitoring, will also be part of your area of responsibility.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in a laboratory, materials, or technical profession (e.g. as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Physics Laboratory Technician, Materials Tester, Construction Materials Tester, Coating Laboratory Technician)
- Alternatively, a completed Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline
- Enjoyment of hands-on laboratory work and interest in technical questions
- Careful, structured, and independent way of working
- Very good command of German, both spoken and written (at least C1 level)
- English language skills for technical exchange
- Team player mentality
- Motivation to familiarize yourself with new test methods, materials, and subject areas
What You Ideally Bring
- Experience with physical-technological test methods
- Knowledge in materials testing
- Knowledge in the field of plastics, films, and packaging materials
- Experience in wet chemical analysis
- Knowledge in instrumental analysis, particularly gas chromatography
- Confident handling of common office software

The Oldenburg Laboratory
Our DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art measuring systems for flexible packaging, paper, and films: tensile and heat-seal testers, GC-MS, GC-FID, FT-IR and Raman spectroscopy, DSC, as well as permeation test stands for OTR and WVTR.
