Frequently asked questions

Is my packaging material suitable for food contact?
We assess compliance with EU food-contact regulations such as Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 through overall and specific migration testing, sensory analysis and a documentation review, and issue an accredited test report you can rely on.
What does an accredited test report mean?
Our laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. Accredited reports are recognised by manufacturers, fillers and retailers alike and hold up in supplier disputes, audits and authority enquiries.
Which migration tests do you offer?
Overall migration to Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, specific migration limits (SML), NIAS screening, primary aromatic amines (PAA), heavy metals and organoleptic (sensory) testing.
Can you test recyclability and recyclate content for the PPWR?
Yes. We evaluate recyclability, test recyclate quality (including PET flakes and PFAS) and support your conformity work for the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
What materials and packaging do you test?
Flexible packaging (flexpack) made of paper, plastic and aluminium and their laminates – from the raw material to the finished, filled product on the shelf.
