Certified testing laboratory Workflows. Structured procedures for reliable results.

    1. Certified processes as the foundation for trust and reliability

Trust in test results is of central importance to our customers and partners. As a certified testing laboratory, we work according to clearly defined, monitored and documented procedures. These ensure that every test is carried out in a traceable, replicable and technically reliable manner. Below, we provide an insight into our work procedures, which are consistently in line with the requirements of certification.

    2. Structured sample reception and complete documentation

Once the samples arrive, a clearly regulated process begins. Each sample is immediately registered in our laboratory information and management system (LIMS). We document all available and relevant information, including:

    • clear sample description and identification
    • Size and composition of the sample
    • Origin and arrival date
    • additional information related to the request

At the same time, all related documents – such as testing instructions, specifications or additional documents – are systematically stored in the LIMS. This centralised and complete documentation is an essential part of our accreditation-compliant working methods and provides the basis for full traceability.

    3. Clear labelling and technical inspection by the inspection management

After registration, each sample is given a unique label that identifies it throughout the entire testing process. It is then handed over to the responsible test manager.

The test manager will meticulously review the sample and the test order in accordance with the stored documents. If relevant, they will also refer to any information that has been clarified during prior customer contact. This step ensures that the extent of the test, the references to standards and the condition of the samples are clearly defined.

    4. Clear communication and agreement before test start

Should any questions arise during the preparation for the testing, these will be clarified in close consultation with the customer before the testing begin. Examinations will only be initiated once all necessary information has been provided in a complete and clear manner. This procedure complies with accreditation/certification requirements and serves to avoid any misinterpretations or subsequent corrections.

    5. Controlled storage and replicable conditions

Until the tests are carried out, the samples are stored under controlled, air-conditioned circumstances. This ensures that the condition of the samples is not altered unintentionally and that the tests are carried out under replicable conditions – a key aspect for comparable and reliable results.
